Maryland men’s basketball’s Anthony Cowan Jr. has been honing his skills in the Kenner League for the second straight summer. He had a stellar weekend run in the pro-am, including a game-winner and a win over a pair of Terps teammates.
Cowan led the McClinton All-Stars to a 3-0 weekend playing with former Terp Dez Wells, starting with a team-high 27 points in a nine-point win on Friday night. He followed by securing a last-second victory on Saturday, scoring the game-winning bucket and finishing as game’s leading scorer with 31 points.
