The Maryland men’s basketball team will return to Baltimore for a second straight season when they play Charlotte on Dec. 20 at Royal Farms Arena.
Last December, the Terps drew a crowd of more than 11,000 for a game in Baltimore against Princeton. Then ranked No. 6 in the nation, the Terps won 82-61.
“It was a great atmosphere last season in Baltimore and we are excited to be going back this year,” coach Mark Turgeon said in a news release. “We receive tremendous support from our fans in the Baltimore area and to be able to bring this game into their backyard once again is something we take great pride in.
