Maryland basketball is finalizing a home-and-home series against Seton Hall with the first game in College Park on Dec. 22, Jon Rothstein reported Wednesday.
In each of the past three seasons, the Terps had played a Big East team as part of the Gavitt Games. After beating Georgetown once at home and once on the road, Maryland took down Butler at Xfinity Center last November. The Terps were not selected to play in the event this year, but they’ve filled that spot with a squad from the same conference.
It’s a strong addition to the Terps’ non-conference schedule, as the Pirates have made three consecutive NCAA Tournaments under head coach Kevin Willard.
