Maryland men’s basketball remains undefeated after throttling Marshall 104-67 behind a purely dominant second half on Friday night. It’s the Terps’ first time breaking the century mark this season.
The game was close through the majority of the first half, then the Terps pulled away heading into halftime and put it into overdrive piling on the lead. With its top two options having underwhelming nights, Marshall had no response for the Maryland onslaught.
Anthony Cowan Jr. led the way with 26 points, seven rebounds and six assists, while Bruno Fernando scored 18 points and tied a career high with 16 rebounds.
