Maryland Basketball: Sulaimon and Carter leads Terps past Purdue

Going into today’s game against Purdue, Maryland was expected to get into a hard fought battle. And it was all that and more. Both teams went back to back throughout but in the end it was the Terps managed to beat the Boilermakers 72-61.

Guard Rasheed Sulaimon led the team in scoring with 21 points and collected 10 rebounds. Robert Carter Jr. continued have a stellar season. He finished with 19 points (7-10 FG) and seven rebounds.

Sophomore guard Melo Trimble was 2-12 from the floor and 10-11 from the free throw line to finish with 14 points, seven assists, and five rebounds.
