After beating Connecticut in New York and Maryland-Eastern Shore in College Park last week, the Maryland men's basketball team remained at No. 6 in the Associated Press media poll and moved up two spots to No. 7 in the USA Today Sports media poll.
The Terps jumped ahead of North Carolina, which dropped from third to 11th after losing to Texas.
Maryland (9-1) is one of three Big Ten teams ranked in the Top 10 in the AP poll. Michigan State is No. 1 and Purdue is No. 9.
