The Terps went from No. 3 to No. 2 in the USA Today Sports coaches’ poll, but were passed by Villanova, which went from No. 4 to No. 1.
The Associated Press media poll is expected to be out shortly. The Terps were No. 4 last week, one spot behind Villanova.
Oklahoma and North Carolina, which were No. 1 last week in the AP poll and the USA Today Sports poll, respectively, lost last week.
