Tuesday’s game between the Maryland men’s basketball team and North Carolina got even more interesting.
On Monday, coach Roy Williams announced that Marcus Paige will play against the Terrapins.
Williams broke the news on the ESPNU College Basketball Podcast on Monday morning. Paige has missed the Tar Heels’ first six games due to a broken hand.
“He’ll play,” Williams said. “Unless something weird happens today in practice. He practiced Friday and Saturday.”
Prior to the season, Paige was tabbed as a preseason All-American and the ACC Co-Player of the Year along with Virginia’s Malcolm Brogdon.
