Maryland Basketball: Jaylen Brantley has breakout game

Depth has been a theme with this year’s Maryland men’s basketball team.

On Friday, Jaylen Brantley showed he’s more than capable of helping out the Terps.

As the 2015-16 season began, it was pretty clear that Maryland’s success was going to run through star point guard Melo Trimble and how far he could carry them. It was also believed that Brantley would be able to spell Trimble a good amount of the time, but it certainly was a slow start for Brantley prior to Friday’s 96-55 win over Saint Francis (Pa.)

Prior to Friday, the former Marshall signee scored just one point, dished out six assists, and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Terps.
