Maryland Basketball: Jake Layman has monster fourth quarter

Related Topics: Jake Layman, Maryland, Layperson

Jake Layman hadn’t seen the floor over the early part of his rookie season in the NBA.

However, that all changed on Tuesday evening when the former Maryland star had a fourth quarter to remember. In just eight minutes, Layman scored 17 points (6-of-8) and had one assist, one rebound, and one steal in a 127-104 loss to the Golden State Warriors.

Layman was the highest scoring Portland Trail Blazer aside from star guard Damian Lillard who had 31 points. The Massachusetts native played the least amount of minutes on the team.
