After winning at Nebraska, Maryland men’s basketball remained in the No. 24 spot in the Associated Press rankings released Monday.
The Terps knocked off the Huskers, 60-45, holding a slumping Nebraska team to 21 percent shooting. Maryland is one of six Big Ten teams in the top 25, with Michigan up to No. 6, Michigan State dropping to No. 11, Purdue up three spots to No. 12, Wisconsin moving down to No. 20 and Iowa at No. 21.
Maryland will play Purdue and Michigan this week, two games that could be crucial to the Terps’ Big Ten tournament and NCAA Tournament seeding.
