Maryland basketball’s Italian training tour started off on the right foot Monday, as the Terps eased their way to an 83-59 over the Rome All-Stars.

Aaron Wiggins led the way with a game-high 17 points. Darryl Morsell and Anthony Cowan weren’t far behind with 14 and 12, respectively.

The highlight of the day was an early alley-oop from Cowan to Jalen Smith. That and a handful of other highlights are on Maryland’s Instagram story, which we’ve conveniently placed in a tweet.

With some support from Eric Ayala and an eight-point second quarter from Wiggins, the Terps took a 46-30 lead into the half.
