Maryland Basketball: Diamond Stone declares for NBA Draft

After a strong freshman campaign, Diamond Stone has made his initial decision on his future.

According to Cleveland.com, Stone has declared for the NBA Draft, but won’t hire an agent. In going through the process without an agent, Stone still has the option to return to Maryland if he chooses.

The Maryland center is one of three Terrapin underclassmen that could make the leap to the NBA this summer. Forward Robert Carter and guard Melo Trimble have yet to announce their intentions regarding the 2016 Draft.

Stone averaged 12.
