It hasn’t exactly been the summer that Dez Wells has been hoping for.
However, Wells did have himself a strong game on Sunday night in the NBA Summer League semifinals in Las Vegas. The former Maryland star scored 11 points (4-of-7), grabbed two rebounds, dished out two assists, and recorded a pair of steals in 18:14 of playing time.
Wells also connected on one of his two shots from beyond the arc.
Wells helped the Chicago Bulls defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers 85-79. The former Terrapin was one of six Bulls in double figure along with the likes of Jerian Grant, Bobby Portis, and Denzel Valentine.
