Top-25 recruit Devon Dotson has verbally committed to play basketball at Kansas next fall.
The five-star 2018 point guard was highly recruited by almost every major program, but ultimately decided on a final eight in June:
Dotson then set Friday October 13th as decision day, between Kansas and Maryland. The Jayhawks would have two other point guards on their roster in Charlie Moore and Marcus Garrett. Both of them were four star talents coming out of high school, and would have at least two years of eligibility remaining.
On Maryland’s side, the only true point guard on their roster is Anthony Cowan, giving Dotson the angle of earlier playing time.
