Five-star power forward Jalen Smith has scheduled his official visit to Maryland for June 23, Terrapin Sports Report’s Pat Donahue is reporting.
Donahue also said that Smith will be on campus for an event this weekend. Smith, who’s also known as “Sticks,” is perhaps Maryland’s top target in the Class of 2018. He’s the No. 22 overall prospect, the No. 9 power forward and the No. 2 player in Maryland, per the 247Sports Composite rankings. A Mount St. Joseph’s attendee, Smith is also the teammate of 2017 Maryland signee and four-star guard Darryl Morsell.
