The Maryland baseball team is well known for its wide variety of snazzy uniforms, and it looks like the Terps are stepping up to the plate again in 2017. The “M” logo on the team’s batting helmets will be in 3D this spring.
The Terps will follow the lead of the Los Angeles Dodgers, who wore helmets with raised logos during the 2016 season, becoming the first MLB team to do so. It’s not an easy feat, because helmet shells are rounded and the logos are rigid, but this definitely could become a trend.
Maryland will also sport new Under Armour cleats this spring.
