Maryland baseball opens its season with a weekend trip to Charleston, South Carolina, where it will face three opponents in the Swig & Swine College Classic.
Maryland finished last season with a 34-22 overall record, going 10-14 in conference play. Despite recording the sixth-most single-season wins in school history, Maryland’s campaign was a step back from 2023, when it won the Big Ten regular season and tournament titles.
The Terps’ first game of the season comes against UAB on Friday at 4:30 p.m. They then face Ball State at noon, before taking on Mercyhurst at 1 p.
