Some teams have rally hats, some have rally towels and some teams wear the same socks for good luck. But Maryland baseball has a rally squirrel — and his name is Crumbs.
Crumbs has been around for a while, but he always seems to show up right before something good happens for Maryland. Take Tuesday, for example: with the Terps down three, Crumbs shows up, Brandon Gum laces a line drive to left field, Nick Cieri ties the game with a homer and the Terps go on a four-run rally to take the lead. Coincidence? I think not!
