Maryland football’s Lorenzo Harrison and D.J. Turner will return for spring practice, the school announced Tuesday.
Harrison tweeted about it after the Terps’ Quick Lane Bowl loss to Boston College.
The school said Tuesday that both players “will rejoin the football program in full capacity when the team begins offseason workouts.”
Maryland opens next season on the road against Texas, and Harrison and Turner should be able to play in that game.
Both Harrison and DJ Turner were suspended indefinitely after they shot at pedestrians with airsoft guns while driving around campus. Each was charged with three counts of second-degree assault and reckless endangerment and one count of school molestation, which is when a student is threatened on university property.
