Maryland football has a few young gems on its roster that have stood out nationally halfway through the season.
ESPN released its list for its Midseason True Freshman All-American Team and the Terps had Branden Jennings and Demeioun Robinson named to the linebacker section. Both linebackers have played important roles on the defense this season for head coach Michael Locksley’s program.
Jennings has been the more impactful linebacker of the two as he totaled 13 solo tackles and 18 total tackles through the opening four games of the season. Jennings has been absent with an injury since exiting against in the Maryland win over Kent State back on Sept.
