In the days after he was hospitalized last August, Mulrooney was tested for diseases that he had never heard of before, like Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, and as he looked back earlier this week, he still couldn’t provide a clear explanation of the illness that largely derailed his junior season. It was simply chalked up as a viral infection.
“I gave it my all when I came back … it was just really tough for me to get back in the swing of things because I missed camp.
