With the tying run standing 90 feet from home and the Maryland baseball team one out from advancing to the NCAA tournament Super Regionals for the second year in a row, and second time in program history, on Monday night, closer Kevin Mooney (North Harford) turned to the pitch he couldn't throw for a strike in the regular-season finale.
