Maryland football season is right around the corner, but perhaps the biggest question of the offseason is still unanswered: who will be the starting quarterback?
BetDSI released odds Monday handicapping 21 starting quarterback races across the country. Maryland’s odds are as follows:
The Terps’ quarterback struggles of last year are well-documented. As a result of two season-ending knee injuries, four quarterbacks started in 2017. No quarterback on the roster has started more than Bortenschlager, who has made nine career starts.
Monday marked exactly 10 months since Hill went down. Both he and Pigrome are projected to be fully healed and rehabbed in time for the start of the season, and it is thought to be a two-horse race for the starting job with Bortenschlager in the wings if things don’t go as planned.
