After six years with the Maryland football program, wide receiver Jeshaun Jones is on to the professional ranks. He signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent on Saturday, it was reported.
Jones has been a key piece of Maryland’s wide receiver room throughout his career, which was marred by injury. He twice suffered season-ending knee injuries, which allowed him extra years of eligibility.
When on the field, Jones was a reliable target, accumulating 2,040 yards and 151 receptions over the course of his career.
Jones’ college career started with a bang, as he accounted for a receiving, rushing and passing touchdown in the Terps’ win over Texas.
