The past few months have been the quietest of Jaylen Brantley’s basketball career, but he forgot about his trials and tribulation and put on a show Tuesday night against Bowie State. He knew this was a Division II opponent that had been tucked into the schedule to break up one of Maryland’s Big Ten bye weeks, but Brantley also knew it would be the most meaningful minutes he would played in weeks.
He entered the night having played just 12 combined minutes in the past five games, but Mark Turgeon gave him his most significant run Tuesday night.
