Maryland men’s lacrosse attacker Jared Bernhardt and defender Nick Grill join an illustrious list of over 60 Terps drafted to play professionally as the latest selections in the 2021 Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) college draft.
Bernhardt was selected 19th overall in the third round by the Chaos Lacrosse Club, while Grill was taken 31st overall in the fourth round by the Whipsnakes Lacrosse Club.
The two have proved to be serviceable pieces to Maryland’s stellar season with consistent production. Bernhardt, as the frontrunner for the Tewaaraton Award, leads the nation with 4.33 goals per contest and has posted 43 goals through ten games — enough to surpass Matt Rambo as the program's top scorer.
