It’s NBA All-Star Weekend, which means players from around the league have time off to visit family and friends. It’s also a common time to swing by college stomping grounds, and two former Maryland stars will be doing just that.
Jake Layman, who played four years for the Terps before graduating in 2016, will attend Maryland’s game Saturday night against Rutgers. He’s in his second year with the Portland Trail Blazers, and while his 1.2 points per game in 26 contests aren’t quite inspiring, he’s still just one of two Terps playing in the association, alongside Phoenix’s Alex Len.
