How to watch the Mystics and their former Terps face the Sparks in the playoffs

The last time a former Maryland women’s basketball player participated in the WNBA finals was 2016. It was a point guard on the Los Angeles Sparks, who scored eight points in a tight 77-76 Game 5 victory over the perennial power Minnesota Lynx to claim the title.

The player was Kristi Toliver.

Now with the third-seeded Washington Mystics, the former Terp has another shot at the crown. Toliver and the Mystics just missed the finals last year, falling in the semifinals to the Lynx, who would go on to win it all.
