The Diamondback released its annual university salary guide on Monday, which, for our sake, means we know just how much each Maryland coach makes.
Not much has changed at the top of the list over the past three years, with a subtle change. Women’s basketball head coach Brenda Frese is now the third-highest paid university employee and second-highest paid coach, behind men’s basketball head coach Mark Turgeon.
Frese will earn $523,657.23 this year, a $24,936.06 (or 5 percent) raise from the prior year. She leaped football head coach DJ Durkin, who’s the fourth-highest paid, and Athletic Director Kevin Anderson rounds out the top five in what’s definitely his last year on this list.
