As a freshman, Maryland point guard Melo Trimble rarely passed out to an open shooter on the perimeter after penetrating inside. For most of his three years at Duke, Rasheed Sulaimon was out by the 3-point line and got many open looks as a result of his teammates driving the lane.
Now as teammates for the first six weeks of the season, Trimble and Sulaimon seem to have a good sense of where the other is, as well as where the rest of those with the capability of knocking down 3-pointers are on the floor for the Terps.
