COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Maryland marked the first anniversary of its entry into the Big Ten Conference Wednesday. The Terps boasted a successful inaugural campaign, racking up a league-high seven conference titles in the 2014-15 season.
"I am extremely proud of how we hit the ground running in our inaugural season in the Big Ten," director of athletics Kevin Anderson said. "The hard work and dedication by our coaches, student-athletes and staff helped us set a standard during our first season in one of the elite conferences in the nation. The support we received from our fans and the energy and excitement they brought to our venues was tremendous.
