College basketball is back and the Maryland women’s basketball team is set to start its season at 11 a.m. with a game against Longwood. The Terps are returning the majority of their team from last season which was the No. 1 scoring offense in the country.
Junior guards Ashley Owusu and Diamond Miller along with graduate guard Katie Benzan and foward/guard Chloe Bibby were named to watchlists for their respective positions ahead of the season. Owusu and Miller were also named to the Preseason All-Big Ten Team and the Terps were picked by the conference head coaches and media to win the league.
