Maryland football is back for its third game of the season as it will take on Illinois on the road after capturing two wins in as many games.
The Terps have taken down the likes of West Virginia and Howard but now will start their Big Ten slate with a matchup with the Fighting Illini. Maryland has outscored its opponents 92-24 through the first two games.
Illinois is coming into the matchup with a 1-2 record, with the program’s lone win coming against Nebraska back on Aug. 28. Since that win, the Fighting Illini have lost to both UTSA and Virginia.
