Dez Wells is one of the most important Maryland basketball players from the last few years, as he was part of a middling 2013-14 team as well as the 2014-15 team that ended the Terps' NCAA Tournament absence. He was the leading scorer on the former team, and was second to Melo Trimble on the latter.
Wells will play for the Chicago Bulls in the Las Vegas summer league this July, according to a CSN report. An injury kept Wells from participating in the summer league last year, and sure seems like it affected his chances to make a team.
