Maryland men’s basketball coach Mark Turgeon said today that former Duke guard Rasheed Sulaimon will transfer and finish his college basketball career in College Park next season.
Sulaimon went from being one of the top freshmen in the country three years ago to last January becoming the first player legendary Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski dismissed from his program in 35 years with the Blue Devils.
A little over a month later, the Duke student newspaper reported that Sulaimon had been accused of sexual assault by two female students, who have never filed formal charges.
