During a radio interview last week with Albany's WTMM (104.5 FM), Maryland men's basketball assistant coach Dustin Clark was asked about Kevin Huerter, an upstate New Yorker and incoming Terps recruit. Clark must be "thrilled" to have the Shenendehowa (N.Y.) star coming to campus, one of the hosts said.
"Yeah, I would just like to get him on campus," Clark said. "Heck, he's on this world tour. So I wish he'd finish messing around and get to campus for us."
A week-plus stop in Valdivia, Chile for the FIBA Americas Under-18 Championship isn't exactly Formation World Tour levels of "world tour," but Huerter's summer is on the verge of a blockbuster moment all the same.
