Maryland men’s basketball picked up the third member of its 2018 recruiting class Saturday afternoon, when four-star combo guard Eric Ayala committed to the Terps.

Ayala is the No. 6 combo guard and the No. 76 overall prospect in the country, per the 247Sports Composite rankings. The 6’5, 180-pound guard officially visited Maryland two weekends ago, along with five-star point guard Devon Dotson and five-star wing Keldon Johnson. Aaron Wiggins and Jalen Smith, who are already committed to Maryland, made the trip to College Park as well.

He had scheduled an official visit to Oregon last weekend, but ended up not even making the trip.
