Eleanor Roosevelt safety Raymond Boone committed to Maryland on Friday night, the second in-state recruit to commit to the Terps in as many days.
"Childhood dreams do come true and I think it's time for me to step out and fulfill mine,” the rising senior wrote on Twitter.
Rated a three-star prospect by Scout.com and Rivals.com and not yet evaluated by ESPN.com and 247Sports.com, Boone made his pledge a little more than 24 hours after St. Frances four-star offensive tackle Jaelyn Duncan announced he was College Park-bound.
The 5-foot-11, 199-pound Boone also had offers from Virginia Tech, Pittsburgh, North Carolina and Kentucky, among others.
