After a timeout, Maryland’s Noah Batchelor missed a three-pointer, and the Gophers went 6 for 6 at the free throw line to secure their win.
Julian Reese, who fouled out in the final minute, and Scott had 14 points apiece for the Terps, who shot 38 percent and made just 4 of 12 three-pointers.
