D.J. Durkin is officially coming to Maryland as the Terrapins' 36th head football coach. He'll be introduced at an 11 a.m. press conference on Thursday.
In an athletic department release, Durkin and Maryland athletic director Kevin Anderson each made their first public comments on Durkin's hiring.
"On behalf of the entire University of Maryland community, I am thrilled to welcome D.J., his wife, Sarah, and their children, Abigail and Luke, to College Park," Anderson said.
