A day after the Boston Red Sox selected Maryland right-hander Mike Shawaryn in the fifth round with the 148th overall pick, two more Terps pitchers were selected Saturday in the Major League Baseball draft. The San Francisco Giants selected junior right-hander Mike Rescigno in the 25th round with the 755th overall pick, and the Arizona Diamondbacks took senior left-hander Rob Galligan in the 36th round with the 1,079th overall pick. Rescigno, a converted infielder, had a 2.25ERA with four strikeouts in four innings in 2015 and finished this season 2-1 with 23 strikeouts, 11 walks and a 5.
