The McDonald’s All-American Games were played on Wednesday night, and Maryland women’s basketball was represented on the national stage.
Just two days after being eliminated in the second round of the NCAA Tournament by UCLA, the Terrapins got a glimpse of their future just two days later. Ashley Owusu and Diamond Miller, the Nos. 5 and 18 recruits in the nation, respectively, were on the East team, which took home the 83-68 victory.
Miller finished tied for the game high with 10 rebounds on the day, as the 6’1 shooting guard is able to play inside in addition to her sharpshooting abilities.
