Maryland’s football coaching search appears to be coming to a close. Alabama offensive coordinator Mike Locksley, Michigan offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton and interim head coach Matt Canada are considered the three finalists, and Canada interviewed for the job earlier this week.
According to The Washington Post, the three finalists are expected to interview in Maryland over the next few days, and a decision could be made next week. USA Today’s Dan Wolken is reporting that Locksley is the “heavy favorite” to land the job, and the interview will be the final hurdle before making the move official.
