After missing seven games with a sports hernia, Wisconsin running back Corey Clement returned last week against Rutgers and received 11 carries. It was a manageable workload for a player who is still not at full strength, but Clement showed glimpses of why he was a Heisman Trophy candidate before his junior season began by running for 115 yards and a career-high three touchdowns.
Clement was shifty and showed burst in the second level during a number of his runs, including on a toss play in the second half in which he broke free for a 58-yard gain.
