Contract details, buyouts and bonuses for Maryland football assistants Scott Shafer, Walt Bell, Pete Lembo, Rick Court

The Maryland football program has agreed to pay new defensive coordinator Scott Shafer $2.25 million over a three-year contract and special teams coordinator Pete Lembo an even $350,000 per season on a two-year deal. New offensive coordinator Walt Bell will make $500,000 in each year of a three-year deal, totaling $1.5 million.

The university's memoranda of understanding with Shafer, Bell, Lembo, strength coach Rick Court and defensive backs coach Aazaar Abdul-Rahim were obtained by Testudo Times via a public records request through Maryland. The terms of Abdul-Rahim's contract were previously reported by The Baltimore Sun.

Court, the strength coach hired from Mississippi State, will receive $285,000 in both years of a two-year contract.
