Maryland basketball fell to No. 5 in the latest Coaches Poll, out on Monday ahead of this week's AP Top 25. After moving to No. 2 in both polls last week, the Terps couldn't hold onto the ranking following a home loss to unranked Wisconsin on Saturday. Last week, Maryland received 11 first place votes in the Coaches Poll and 13 in the AP Top 25.
Around the Big Ten, Iowa dropped to No. 6 after losing to Indiana on Friday. The Hawkeyes also narrowly defeated Minnesota on Sunday, 75-71. Michigan State checks in at No.
