It’s been a little over a year since construction workers broke ground on the University of Maryland’s $155 million renovations to Cole Field House. As of Wednesday night, the inside looks pretty close to done—and really cool.
The project, which is both privately and publicly funded, appeared to be moving rather slowly earlier this spring, but over the past few months, the indoor practice field portion of the project has moved at a relatively rapid pace. For reference, here’s what Cole looked like on May 15.
This looked cool on its own. But then three days later, there was a fully completed field in there.
