Chance Campbell commits to Maryland football: Terps land local 3-star LB

Maryland football picked up another local prospect on the recruiting trail Friday, as linebacker Chance Campbell announced his commitment to the Terps.

Campbell is a 6’2, 222-pound inside linebacker from Calvert Hall College High School in Towson, Maryland. He’s a three-star prospect according to Rivals and Scout, but isn’t rated on ESPN or 247Sports. Campbell also plays lacrosse for the Cardinals, who won the MIAA state title Thursday night, so he hasn’t been evaluated as frequently as full-time football prospects.

He had 17 offers in total and 10 from Power 5 programs, but elected to stay in-state.
