According to Jeff Ermann of IMS, Maryland will be participating in next season's Cancun Challenge with Illinois State, University of Rhode Island and TCU. This definitely seems like a tournament Maryland could win, but while still facing quality opponents. TCU (58), Rhode Island (61), and Illinois State (97) are all currently top 100 teams in Kenpom's rankings. This tournament, along with the game against UConn in the Jimmy V Classic in New York, gives Maryland several quality opponents in their non-conference schedule for the 2015-2016 season. It will be interesting to see who else will end up on the schedule.
